I am an American expat living in the central highlands of Mexico, where the air is clean and pure, and the weather is wonderful.  I haven't done anything deliberate to change the world since my days of  active feminism.  Probably not going to do anything deliberate in the future, either, unless you count teaching English in a developing nation changing the world.  Actually, that changes individual people, who might (or might not) change the world.

 I  believe that everything we do has a purpose and a reason behind it, even if our conscious minds aren't bright enough to figure out what the reason is.

I believe we are all energy patterns, and of course all energy is part of all other energy.  I love the idea of string theory, that the universe is made up of vibrating strings.  I believe that our energy has a vibration, which is why we connect better with some people than with others;  our vibrations are in sync more with some.

I love the idea that we can reinvent ourselves at any time, that we are not static beings, but are always in flux.

I believe every day is a gift, and we should await each day with joy.
